Once you have booked a consultation, you will receive an email confirmation as well as a preliminary questionnaire and disclosure form. While it’s not necessary to complete these documents ahead of your visit, it’s key that you review them. There are important answers to bring to your consultation.

At your consultation, you will complete a preliminary questionnaire and disclosure form.
In the privacy of a patient room, you will remove only your footwear to experience a InBody scan. This scan lasts less than a minute and provides you with valuable health insights.
Next, you will meet with Dr. Pinckens to review your medical history, discuss your InBody scan information and understand your goals and expectations.
Dr. Pinckens will discuss with you whether prescription treatments are right for you and what options are available. He will also provide nutrition guidance and tracking tools.
Based on your course of treatment, Dr. Pinckens will advise you on follow up timing.
Our goal is to make medical weight loss accessible and affordable for the people who need it. The cost of an initial consultation is $100 and there is no charge for follow-up progress check ins. Semaglutide treatment requires a ramp-up dosage process. Medication for Month 1 is $99 then steps up to $199 for Month 2, then $299 for Month 3, etc. as your doses increase. You are not locked in to any contract or subscription. You increase your doses as you and your Doctor determine is best. Tidewater Weight Loss does not accept insurance. Consultation and medication costs must be paid for at the time of your visit via credit/debit card, cash or check. Tidewater Weight Loss medication is FSA and HSA eligible.
